Mayabeque, Cuba: The temporary work group in the municipality of Batabanó, faced with the threat of tropical storm Eta, implements actions according to those indicated for the Informative Phase.
The secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in the territory, Manuel Jesús Pérez, reported the transfer of 13 containers to safe areas, as well as the dispatch of four boats to the Isla de la Juventud.
They also carry out the collection of several productions for social consumption, the collection of solid waste, the cleaning of ditches and the pruning of trees that have contact with electrical networks.
Likewise, the Party secretary specified the transportation for the transfer of vulnerable people and their resources, anticipating the gradual deterioration of weather conditions and heavy rains.
In each entity and municipal institution they are making progress in the application of the measures contained in the risk prevention plans.
