When the people crushed the counterrevolution without firing a shot.

As if time had not passed last Sunday, July 11, I remembered that August 5, 1994, when Fidel with his armor of shame and truth burst into the crowd, in Old Havana, seconds before it was inflamed.

At his steps, they all retreated to the side of the street and then most joined the followers led by his impressive figure. It is one of the most beautiful and uplifting memories that I keep in my memory.

Not a single shot, zero repression and the Revolution would remain unscathed, stronger than ever, once again his greatness and imposing in order to preserve the triumph of January.

That fateful Sunday 11, once again, our president Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez demonstrated why he is the one who directs the destinies of Cuba today.

We saw him there firm, haughty, reminding everyone that the street belongs to revolutionaries, good Cubans, those who like him, are worthy of the example of his predecessors, lost in many cases the most precious thing, their lives.

Today, 27 years after the events of the so-called maleconazo and in the midst of the most complex of scenarios, it is imperative to remember the maximum leader of the Cuban Revolution and his legacy in Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez.

Those of us who love the Revolution and the Fatherland heard of the latter that Sunday, which was like an echo in history, the reiteration of an order that has the proletariat as its protagonist, the only dictatorship that we accept, it has already been given a long time ago and that It is the main message of our National Anthem, this is none other than the call to combat, and with it the only conviction that accompanies us, Homeland or Death! We will Win!
