Mayabeque, Cuba: Madruga reinforces the surveillance at its borders as part of the measures against Covid-19, particularly on the highway, the area bordering Matanzas.
That province, along with Havana, reports the largest number of confirmed cases in the country in recent days, so it is important to control the circulation of vehicles on that road and only allow those in work functions or for very justified reasons.
The location of control points allows the disinfection of transport, discourages travel from the city of Matanzas to Madruga and vice versa. In the other borders with the municipalities of Mayabeque, compliance with the measures included in the plan to confront the Copvid-19 is also ensured, including the restriction of movement from seven at night until five in the morning.
The municipality managed to control Covid-19 after the outbreak of last February, but the slightest neglect can translate into new infections, hence the authorities insist on the need for self-care and responsibility.
