Mayabeque, Cuba: Four players, from the Mayabeque Hurricanes, make up the Cuba team to the Caribbean Baseball Cup, which will be held in Curaçao, between May 8 and 15.

The Guajiro from Quivicán, averaged 338 offensively, with 70 runs scored and 57 RBIs, hit 10 home runs and received 55 walks.
Marlon Vega, the rookie of the year in the current Cuban baseball season, threw 30 challenges, with 84 innings and two-thirds of work.
The opponents averaged him offensively to 249, he struck out 75, placing himself among the top 3 in this important department of the country, he won 9, he only lost 2 challenges and saved 3, that is, he participated in 12 of the victories of the Mayabeque Hurricanes.
