Mayabeque, Cuba: Party authorities and the government of Batabanó evaluated the progress of the reunification of the health services in the territory.
As part of the agreements of the Temporary Working Group, several municipal leaders spoke with managers and personnel in charge of the task to detail the constructive progress to date.
They also pointed out the difficulties presented in order to adopt all measures to complete the social work in the shortest possible time.
According to the secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) in Batabanó, Manuel Jesús Díaz Pérez, they have already installed the entire hydro sanitary network and during this week the generators to give vitality to that first part.
Díaz Pérez explained that they give priority to the implementation of the first block that includes consultations and the area of the Medical Emergency System (SIUM). Once this is finished, they will work in the X- ray area, the laboratory and the Maternity Home.
The Party secretary, during the brief exchange, urged to advance further and take care of sanitary measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19, in a municipality where no positive cases have been reported for more than three months.
