Caracas: Venezuelans and Cubans will pay tribute to the National Hero of Cuba, José Martí, on the occasion of the 140 anniversary of his visit to that country and the 168 of his birthday, Radio Reloj publishes.

This Wednesday a group of young people will carry out a symbolic tour for the well-known route of the liberators, to remember the path followed by Martí with the aim of paying tribute to Simon Bolivar on his statue.

Also in the evening, a torch march will be carried out at the Capital-district, with which Cubans pay homage every year to their National Hero.

Yesterday, in Nuestra America House, in the Boulevard Pantheon in Caracas, place where Martí gave classes during his stay in Venezuela, participants remembered the presence of the Cuban hero in those lands and his political labor for the independence of America.
